The large bushes of azaleas create white, pale pink, magenta and salmon foams. An old medlar tree have been producing its fruits for 200 years while the late spring Clerodendron opens its leaves in late May and in September delights siesta in the garden with its fragrance that mingles with that of the Olea fragrans osmanthus that frame the view of Como from the garden. Hydrangeas, roses, sweet peas (Lathyrus odoratus), elegant shrubs of Gaura and Cotoneaster beads lawns and stone walls of the roof garden.

In a corner of the garden, in the shade of an umbrella under a sinuous Chinese palm tree (Trachycarpus fortunei) and surrounded by the fragrance of a climbing Rhyncospermum jasminoides, guests can relax, read, sip a good cup of tea or a fresh drink!
